Something fascinating about an utterly isolated, snow-bound soviet mining city. Seems like something out of the past, or a setting for a video game. Apparently still very lucrative business though, I wonder how much of that wealth stays in the area.
(and btw, go 10 miles outside of San Fran and there's not a cloud in the sky for 8 months at a time)
