Annoyingly, a certain MINERVA is on there. I thought I told you people not to vote?
Well, please make sure that nobody makes a similar mistake again.
...
(I'm really hoping this triple-reverse psychology actually works!)
You know, it has occured to me that MINERVA, by being episodic, may harbour a crucial advantage over Her rivals. The imminent (?!)release of the final part of Metastasis will, I feel certain, redouble the support for this mod and win many new converts for the cause.
Such is the potential advantage from so many replaying the original and being bowled-over by its conclusion, that it's almost unfair. ;-)
But ,of course, to realise this advantage, the release would have to be within the next 15 days.....
It would be an *awful* shame to miss such a golden opportunity, would it not? ;-)
I seem to have accidently voted for MINERVA: Metastasis again, even though I haven't played the last chapter. *nudgenudge*
Just after finishing Half-Life two, and waiting for Episode one to come out, I was looking some distraction. Downloading Minerva, I got more than I bargained for!
Your mod plays as a completely natural, insanely beautiful, cleverly mapped action adventure, with an intruiging plot as icing on the cake.
So, guess what??? You got my vote!
i tryed 2 clcky click tha no gud MOD, butt i tink i axidentilly voted 4 MINERVA insted, sawry
*ahem*
Eternal Silence, The Hidden, and Minerva
all of them good quality, and all bringign something unique and much needed to the scene
that, and I can't bring my self to vote for unreleased mods, no matter how good they are seeming...
oh damn it...
there i was trying to vote for mario kart source, when my hand slipped and clicked on minerva.
shame.
Minerva... That's that new Counter-Strike mod coming out, right? I love CS!
After a brief incident, involving a spork, a microwave, and a quantum potato, I was temporarily switched with a near perfect parallel universe.
I knew something was amiss when I found the parallel's version of this forum and found its creator pleading for votes!
When I finally managed to return (No small feat in of itself) I found that my parallel had voted for your Minerva along with an Iron Grip: The Oppression and one Black Mesa Source.
I appologize for the inconvenience.
As a side note, my parallel left me a message to send to you. Something about avoiding potato salad when using any form of psychollogy.
Maybe that universe wasn't THAT parallel...
why do 2 modDB screenshots from carcinogenesis say metastasis1:insertion?
one was posted by yourself, mr. CargoCult, in january of this year!
have you already forgotten your mod's own chapter titles?
it's ok, i forgive you. just lay off the crack and hookers for a bit... at least untill part 3 makes it to my hard drive.
Okay, I've got my three choices: Black Mesa, Iron Grip, and Hidden Source. Minerva simply couldn't make the cut-off, along with Insurgency and Garry's Mod. I have discovered, though, that re-selecting a mod you've already chosen removes your nomination for it. Here's your chance, Adam: show me that a vote for Minerva is justified.
How dare you try to make Adam succumb to Black Mail and have him Bribe us for our votes in the open!
It should be done in an entire back door way so as to not ruin our respective names!
;)
Played the first chapter of this. It was nice looking, but the action didn't really start yet.

I wasn't supposed to vote? I must've read that post wrong or something. I'm generally very good at following directions... ;-)
