'Scuse the Flickrator... -

The standard Flickr blog-badges were fundamentally useless for my needs, so I wrote my own. It has features beyond those attainable by mere mortals.

There's also an RSS feed to go with it. Such excitement!

If you haven't fallen asleep yet, go look at my photos, and talk amongst yourselves. You usually do.

Carry on!

While the RSS Feed of FlicR worked just great, it could become heavy when you posted 40 pictures at once. ... I'll just use the new one, if you promise it's always updated - You did make an automated script to download from the original RSS Feed, right? And is it cached?

Let's find out which one updates first next time!

It's set to update once every hour (there's a cron job which runs the Flickr-molesting script in the background - querying all the update times takes an appreciable few seconds). The scripts which produce the RSS feed and the blog-badge run from the cached output.

It'll keep updating for the foreseeable future - at least, while electricity and the internet holds out. I'll need to find some alternative means of distributing post-porkopalyptic imagery...
