Always excellent to see MINERVA coverage, especially with potential to bring many more sheep to the fold

Quite so!
Also, as was pointed out on the blog, they referred to Adam as a "team." Whoops ...

Did you also notice that they thought it was good enough not only to do an article, but also to include it on the PC Gamer CD-Rom that came with that issue!

So, anybody else think that MINERVA is going to become an official game, kinda like what happened with Counter-Strike?

I'm 95% sure that it won't. But I guess semi-pseudo-official is half good enough for some of us. Maybe :P

All I want to see is the MINERVA plotline become canon

Is there anything resembling canon? Aren't the great boys and girls at Valve making it all up as they go?

In that case, it's canon enough for me! ;)
I mean, as long as Valve doesn't flatly contradict it and stuff ..

Keep in mind, Adam did visit Valve, wherein they played Metastasis in its entirety, and gave suggestions on how to improve it, many of which, I understand, were used. So for now, I think we can refer to Minerva as at least Semi-Cannon, if such a state even exists.
And I've checked, there are no direct contradictions. Sure, there are a few curious points, but remember, if you find any plot holes, they were just tests by Minerva to see if you'd notice.
