Ok, I've checked the 'stumped' thread, and no-one else got stuck at this point, so I guess I'm missing something really, really, really, really obvious. You have my permission to call me Mr Thicky ;)
I've got to the bit where I have the sentry guns that have been switched against the zombies, and I've gone up the stairs to the corridor with the grenade chest, and the big multi-crab zombie, and the forcefield at the far end.
I can't get through the force field! I've chucked nades through and under it (via the hole in the floor, and I've tried to blow the pipes too), I've looked for power cables, I've back-tracked downstairs to see if there are any switches I've missed. I can't find anything! Have I taken a wrong turn? Is there a big glowing switch I've missed? A door I've not seen?
Any help would be much appreciated, as I've really enjoyed this so far - the production values are right up with Ep1, it's an awesome piece of work!

Just about everyone's got stuck at this point. The solution is... heavily hinted at throughout the thread you mentioned. Look again ;)

As I recall there is a valve right in front of the forcefield in the exposed portion of the floor. It's exposed when you turn the valve on the level below, through the doors you had to blow up to get through. Eh, I think that's right, isn't it? Then you turn this one and it blows up the nearby pipes so you can get below the forcefield.

All I can see on the pipes that are exposed in front of the forcefield is a gauge/meter and a healthpack down below. No valve????...

There must be something wrong here. What you're describing is the state before you turn that valve in the level below. When you turn the valve in that room you had to blow open the doors to get into, it causes an explosion which exposes another small part of the floor right in front of the forcefield with a valve in it. At least this is how I remember it, I went to check but I don't have a save game anywhere near there. Can anyone back me up here? Maybe something went wrong somewhere, maybe try loading a previous saved game and go through that whole section again? If all else fails, just noclip through the bugger.
