As I was playing through Metastasis, I noticed something that I appreciated -- the corpses don't disappear as frequently as per the HL2 norm. In HL2, Episode One, Episode Two, etc., the max number of enemy bodies that will remain is three, and beyond that count the corpses are culled. So for example, If you frag a group of five Combine, when you look away from the bodies and then look back, only three will still be there on the ground. This always bugged me in HL2 and Episode One, and so I was pleased to notice that in Metastasis, the corpse cull-limit has apparently been significantly raised, as bodies I had dropped several minutes into the past would still be there on the ground when I came back to the area. So my question is to ask how this is done. Is it a cvar? I checked over the config files for the mod, but if it's in there, I couldn't spot it. Basically, I just want to know so that I can make this adjustment for when I play stuff like Episode Two, if possible. |

The command is g_ragdoll_maxcount and the default is 8. I don't think it's been modified in Minerva. When using this command keep in mind that higher counts put more strain on your system. |
