MINERVA - read-only archives

If you have an auld HL disk and the associated serial number:

1. Open Steam
2. Go to Games|Activate a product on Steam
3. Follow the instructions.
4. Go to
5. Download
6. Extract the someplace_else folder into Steam/SteamApps/user@name/half-life
7. Restart Steam.
8. Someplace Else should then appear in your games list.
9. Rejoice and play.
10. Speculate.


If you don't have an HL disk/serial number:
1. Go and spend money. Bargain bins around the world are a good place too.

Note
1. Someplace Else is not a Half Life: Source mod.
2. The odds of Adam porting it to Source are slim. The odds of someone else of porting it to Source are undetermined. The game sources are
3. It is extremely well designed.
4. It won't tell you where you left your socks.
