Has anybody else noticed that you can actually shoot down your escape helicopter?
OK, maybe it's intentional....but the odd thing is that when you walk onto the wreckage, where it should pick you up, the final cutscene plays and the game ends.

Now that is definetly odd.

Haha. Someone forgot to use a damage_filter. You should mail Adam 'bout this. ;-)

That is pretty funny if you ask me. :) I never really thought about trying to destroy my means of escape, so hadn't come across that one.

Just felt like a natural thing to do :) . Was still hyped up after the gunship battle and was looking for something to shoot when I saw it coming. Shot one rocket and saw flames coming off, thus giving me this odd idea. Afterall, it is a Combine helicopter. =P

I also tried it again. Turns out it takes somewhere around 25-30 rockets to take this puppy down. It also decides to more or less ignore the zombies on the beach after it is shot.

No pic, no proof?

Like I said:

This screenshot actually shows the final cutscene playing...with the difference that Pegasus doesn't fly into the sunset, but just lies on the beach.

That's a nice splat on the beach there in your screenshot! :)
