Well, the lady asked to unlock it, so maybe trying another location? There's alot more to see in this base before going through said door.

Yeah, found my way past it eventually. Now at a dead stop much later in Episode 3 in the three crates and forcefield room.
I have a theory about how to do it, but I can't get my stack of boxes to not fall over.

It wasn't, but 2 and a jump was, once I'd got that sorted.
Well into Episode 4 now just past a big zombie ambush, and of course I don't even know where I'm trying to go, let alone how ;)
EDIT: Yay, now stuck at the bit everyone gets stuck at with the friendly turrets, the grenade box, and the forcefield, and of course all the infinitely spawning zombies to distract you.
I've seen the hole in the floor everyone talks about, but grenades down it don't seem to do anything.

Not very big actually. I found somewhere else to throw grenades... then got out :)
