I think we have been found again by those whose interests are other than Minerva and such. The last 4 new users all have sex related websites and names that are just scrambled letters. Fortunately no posts from them yet.

{Bowing head, then looking skyward}
[ed: Please :) ]Minerva, I call upon you to use your power to strike down these infidels in our midst! Let it be so!

How about a little 'please'? Wouldn't be so difficult. And maybe somekind of offering... hmmm... what DO you offer someone like Minerva?

Look! They have posted! I knew they were spammers...

Also as requested, Kastanok, I have now included a "please" in my plea to Minerva to rid us of the spammers and their scourge (see edit). :)

Thank you, Minerva for eliminating the scourge from our forum that we might enjoy them without spam! ;)

Isn't it interesting how this topic has become of use again. Once again we have an unknown presence in the forum. This time around, the newcomers control the forum (at least as much as possible without being Minerva herself). What to do, what to do. I think they are with the Combine. They don't seem to appreciate those who would like some explananation regarding their leadership here. I don't remember there being anyone in charge before other than Minerva.

Other than the Master.

But cheese related combine? A terrifying notion.

i notice one thing odd...

the three of us... kastanoc, nesretep, and i seem to be the only acolytes around.

everyone else is either one of the horsemen or kate (another enigma?)

And so another enters the realm. That is to say, another of the nulls.
Update: It suddenly occurs to me that the acolytes all seem to have registered in the previous calendar year, whereas the nulls such as myself registered more recently. Perhaps this is Minerva's way of rewarding dedication to the cause?

in a matter of speaking, yes. this wonderful garden of thought, (though tainted by existing as a phpbb) was opened to us once over the summer, and subsequently banished.

but, it is back again! huzzah!

don't worry, there are others coming (see: myself). In fact, it looks like there's a whole month for a community to grow before it's struck down in its prime. Hurray?

Having checked through the userlist, it seems this statement was made in error, for there are several nulls who were registered in the previous incarnation of the forum. I shall therefore hypothesize that the acolytes are all those with more than, it seems, 10 posts, or something nearby.

When you initially arrived the only acolytes would have been from the previous incarnation of this forum. Now, however, others have been granted the title "acolyte" due to their number of posts (as you surmised). Proclaim your devotion to Minerva, my friend, and you to can be an acolyte! :)
