It's a cold packed lunch. Crusty bread, cheese, & pickle (a sort of relish). Often includes an apple.

Of course, if you were going to choose a soft cheese it should be Brie.

Damn you all have made me hungry...and though chinese is on its way it pales in comparison to a lovely brie on crackers.
