On that note, I think it's noteworthy that the vertical slots don't appear at the target points of the mounted portalguns. |

That is an evil, if ingenius, screenshot. The only thing that gives it away is the odd angle of Barney's head. And in response to ZeroMachine, I found myself trying to do that a few times. Another feature I'd have liked is a button to manually close any active portals. |

Actually, I've done that before. You have to be slightly more than halfway through the portal, though, and then dart back through it before the portal-beam reaches the target, so it takes reflexes and/or a big enough room. |
