This explains why he was so good with weapons. The resemblance is scary... :D

It is. At 4:27 on the timer, you could almost pull that direct image and make a poster for Half Life 2

IIRC, the H-L manual mentioned that Gordon created a butane-powered tennis ball gun at the age of 8. So... maybe
EDIT: *Having now watched the video* Yeah, I saw this on TV the other day and thought the same thing. Kind of disconcerting, actually.

Speaking of the weapon they were looking at in that clip (The Masada)-
Why aren't they using that RIGHT NOW? The gun is awesome. I have a nice fat magazine special on that gun. Cover story stuff right there. Plus converting from 5.56x41mm to 7.62x39 with a quick change in parts is just incredibly useful. Wonder if it accepts the AK mags too...
Someone tell Valve to put this gun in the next episode of Half Life 2. Good one to have Yahtzee use XD

Quote from HL1, when you get the Gluon Gun: The scientist's first words are, "Were you in weapons research, too?" I doubt Gordon was high-enough security to have seen the Gluon Gun in his life, but ...
For a second, at the 1:00 bit, I thought his shirt had a lambda symbol on it. And at the 4:27 -- yeah, that's definitely a Gordon Freeman lookalike.
