There's also Adam's earlier work, for the original HalfLife, which is set before the events of Metastasis, I'll not say anything more...
Adam was working on a follow up called Out of Time, but now he's just been hired by Valve to work on Episode 3 so who knows if/when we'll get to play that.

Didn't he also craft together some DOOM maps way back in the day? I'm sure they're floating around some obscure corner of the Internet somewhere...

There's also the Parralax mod floating around on the Internet, well a betatest of Adam's grand project that taught him that grand projects don't work. And it's basically just one polished map with no proper ending.
Edit: It seems I got it on my harddrive, while the README.TXT clearly states DO NOT DISTRIBUTE, I somehow suspect the reasons is outdated. Perhaps most of the scrapped Parralax mod is available upon contact? I guess I'll email him and find out!

ahh cool. alright yeah ill check that out. honestly i couldnt get thru the first half life for some reason... but hl2 was very good.
off topic a bit... where did adam find a development team for this? i have this idea for a mod but i dont think the hl2 engine can support my ideas... any idea where i can find out more about the capabilities? also are there any tutorials for creating a mod? what programming language do you have to know to develop with the hl2 devkit? maybe i can make up a scratch copy to give an example...

Adam developed Minerva on his own, no dev team, and as far as I know it's pretty exclusivly developed using Hammer which is the HL2 level editor. Other, wiser, souls will now provide more useful information: (edit I've noticed some useful information coming out of the Black Mesa Source )
