Voting will soon begin for the Mod of the Year Award on ModDB. Let see if we can show Adam our appreciation for such a fine piece of work as MINERVA: Metastasis by making him number one! We got an honorable mention last year, but with the new release I think there a many more acolytes to help in this respect. So once the voting opens, get out there to ModDB and vote MINERVA!

Could anyone do me a favor and post a link to the results for the MOTY on Mod DB?

You wouldn't believe how long it took me to find a page listing the results, in fact, as far as I can tell there isn't one, barring Locworks helpful post, or the one on . Anyway, check around the 12 minuet mark of the video for Metastasis footage, which apparently has a slight change from normal...

Sometimes I think that they should categorize the SP and MP mods separately. SP Mods have very different gameplay requirements and design challenges compared to MP mods, and they deserve recognition for the extra effort developing a SP mod takes. As many here have expressed at one time, we wish there were more exciting SP experiences out there for us to play.

And it appears to be still in beta. Does that really count as released?

I play Insurgency. It's a fun mod, just a bit high end for my computer. (Lag whenever I look through a scope? Come ON, guys! This isn't SMOD: Tactical Delta 4!... Well, it's not. At least Delta 5 fixed the screen issues with aiming down sights in D4.)

Have they announced the editor's choice awards yet? Maybe I'm just blind, but I didn't see them there yet and thought they were supposed to already be out.

Nope. It's still "coming soon." I'm wondering if it's the making of another mind-bogglingly long showcase video that's holding them up or other, non-technical, considerations.
