Vacuum of space - it has to be quick and relativly painless.

They neglect nothing
we are nothing
and I in particular
only a lacking
of a something
which is I suppose
a sort of something of its own
Else why would I be named?
How will I end?
through vibration
and it will end
and I will begin again
But I cannot speak
for those which remain
poor little body-things
all wrapped up in your
bone-flesh-bloodiness
So drink up.

You impose limits where none are in place, confusing my chosen form for a lack of ability, and I am restrained by no such fetters. Buy worry not! It is not as if this will be the first mistake, and I, unlike others, do not intend to be responsible for the last.
Not looking to get that much blood on my hands.
So drink up.

alas this poll doesn't include my ideal death.
i want to space walk from a shuttle and propell myself toward Earth.
i want to go out by burning up on re-entry, my ashes (if any) scattered about the upper atmosphere.
and regarding pain, i hope that this sort of last goodbye would prove as painful as possible. i wouldn't want to cheapen my death by not feeling it for everything it can and should be.

I actually quite enjoy the idea of dying alone in a room where I cannot be disturbed. The insanity, the fear and the claustrophobia - it thrills a man to even imagine! What better way to drive yourself over to edge than in a starving, lonesome and psychotic episode? It's weak to find yourself dying in a quick and painless way, moreso to think a true pain would come from something so physical - but what about the mental decay of a madman locked in an empty room? There are far more terrible things the own human mind can create for itself - even (especially!) in a void environment - than any flesh-eating beetle could ever commit. Why, this is the Famine section of this little forum, is it not? I see hardly a better death in a place such as this then the very famine of one's sanity...
Let the mind roar.

Although the manner of one's demise is indeed one of great concern and speculation it is not that which we can comprehend in the nature of the action. That is, when we see what it is we can fear nothing else, still the manner is beyond what we can know. The stings. The cuts. The searing.
It should be that we all die the same way, alone, however the extent to which you can comprehend this lies not only in the theory of mind but also what we can perceive in action. For what in the mind that is death is manifested in the body.
By now it should be obvious how we will all die. It is to me.
