'Forgotten' - I'll see if I can sort out some tidied-up VMFs at some point!
The portal sequence is basically very heavily inspired by the portal opening at the end of Half-Life 2, just rotated through 90 degrees. It has a custom prop because I was getting weird glitches from the original being too big for the architecture I'd created - all I did was decompile the old prop and scale it down slightly in the .QC file.
The custom material is just the old HL2 one - Ep1 has a different, simplified version for use when the citadel explodes.
