Still, I just wish they did something, like unlock a neat Ep 3 teaser video
On another note, did anyone else notice that our friend Barney, made no appearance in Ep 2? Did I miss something? I don't recall him being killed. I remember seeing him off at the end of Ep 1, but then, not even a mention of his name in Ep 2?
I'm also still waiting for that moment, when the screen is black, and you hear the echoing footsteps of the G-Man's polished loafers, as he approaches fixing his tie only to utter "Time to wake up Corporal Sheppard." Wouldn't it be awesome if in Ep 3 Gordon either get a nemesis, or a partner that is capable of as much Combine ass kicking as himself. Anyway, I've gotten off topic now, so I will kindly shut it

I suppose the question is, where did the trains end up at? Barney could have stayed there or gone to a different resistance base nearby. I did expect him to be at White Forest though, seeing as the rest of the main characters (pretty much) were there, and he would have been helpful in the strider invasion.
I hope Chell from Portal ends up helping Gordon, although how she will get from wherever the aperture labs are to the Borealis I don't know.
Also, exactly how powerful can the Aperture portals be? Given that what I'm assuming is a large stationary generator moved an enitre boat and part of the dock from America (I'm guessing) to the pole must be pretty powerful. Maybe we'll se Gordon travelling to Xen, the Gmans realm or the Combine homeworld in Epi 3?

I'm also curious about what Chell (I guess that is the portal character's name?) does after the destruction of Glados. However that is for the portal thread

Yeah, her name's Chell. (It mentions it in the closing credits, someone's face got borrowed to be hers.)
I'm curious about what happened to Barney, too.

As by on the blog beast, Gordon didn't get the SALFRCD*. A bad thing or a good thing?
If you miss the action, has some quite challenging bits when the antlions need a lot of your cunning help to get to the juicy transhumans in gas masks.

well, seeing that the only time you kill a guard is right at the very end of the Antlion section, having the Vort extract the baitball then would have been kinda useless.
Still, once I got to that boss-fight, I did notice the lack and felt a little cheated. Just a little.

Yes! I have been preaching for the return of the Corporal. Opposing Force was a personal favorite (can you say M60?). I really hope he still has some part to play in Half Life. I did play one third party mod where you played as Adrian. It was alright, but nothing like Minerva. I can't remember the name though.
